For the third year, Wpromote lands a top spot, ranking third

EL SEGUNDO, Calif., Jan. 7, 2019 /PRNewswire/ — Wpromote, one of the nation’s leading independent digital marketing agency, today announced it has been named number three on Ad Age’s highly competitive Best Places to Work list for the third time.

Headquartered in El Segundo, Wpromote’s 385+ employees and office dogs are spread throughout eight locations across the U.S. Wpromote’s unique culture is a direct result of constant dedication to employee happiness. Employees are always encouraged to give honest feedback about their roles and how the company can improve. The management team utilizes TINYpulse, a leading employee engagement platform that collects anonymous feedback, to ensure every employee has the opportunity to provide insights, suggest changes and share ideas. Chief Operating Officer Michael Block personally reviews every submission in TINYpulse each week and responds to each individual.

The company’s core values are client success, culture, respect, transparency and drive; these are reflected in Wpromote’s motto “Make Mondays Suck Less.”

“Cultivating a positive, collaborative company culture is the most important part of creating a successful business,” said Wpromote Founder & CEO Michael Mothner. “A company is only as good as the people that power it, and if those people feel valued and appreciated, that will come across in their work with clients. We have an incredible team at Wpromote and it’s my top priority to make sure they have the tools they need to succeed.”

Internal committees offer opportunities for employees to get involved. Wprovide is the internal organization connecting team members to charitable organizations, and Wpromote has joined the the ‘Pledge 1%’ initiative, dedicating 1% of employee time to pro bono work helping non-profits. Wpromote also started an initiative called RISE as a way to support female employees in a traditionally male-dominated industry. Wpromote boasts a team that is 57% female, and the goal of RISE is to empower the women in the company by building a supportive community that helps them excel within Wpromote and beyond.

As Wpromote has grown, the leadership team has shown dedication to overall employee happiness by building important benefits, including generous baby bonding policies, improvements to the 401k program, additional healthcare benefits, flexible telecommuting options and unlimited paid time off. Although perks don’t make the culture, employees cite favorites such as in-office yoga classes, weekly Fine Wine Friday happy hours, fresh fruit and veggies and monthly team social events. Wpromote’s commitment to both fun perks and benefits package upgrades keeps employees happy.

Wpromote leadership is always looking for ways to better serve and invest in the employees, and this attitude of ownership and true concern for each person’s happiness helped solidify Wpromote’s inclusion on Ad Age’s exclusive list.
