Los Angeles – February 2, 2021 – Shamrock Capital, an investment firm based in Los Angeles, announced today that David Simpson has joined the Private Equity team as a principal. Mr. Simpson brings over 12 years of direct investing and advisory experience in the media, software, and services sectors.

Prior to joining Shamrock Capital, David was a principal at Providence Equity, where he helped lead a number of investments across the media, software, and information services sectors. Before Providence Equity, Mr. Simpson was a vice president at Spectrum Equity, where he focused on investments in the internet and software verticals.
