NEW YORK, NY (December 07, 2020) – Adweek, a leading source of news and insights for the advertising and brand marketing ecosystem, today announced the appointment of Antonio Lucio to its Board of Directors. Mr. Lucio is a global leader in the marketing and advertising industry, having served in senior roles in organizations including Facebook, HP, Visa, and PepsiCo. His appointment follows the acquisition of Adweek by Shamrock Capital in June.

Before joining the Adweek board, Mr. Lucio most recently served as the Global Chief Marketing Officer of Facebook, a position he held since 2018. Prior to Facebook, Mr. Lucio served in numerous leadership roles, including as Global Chief Marketing & Communications Officer for HP Inc, Global Chief Marketing & Communications Officer for Visa, and Chief Innovation and Health & Wellness Officer for PepsiCo. He is a recognized thought-leader and global influencer in marketing transformation and driving results through diversity.
