Shamrock Capital Advisors Expands Their PE Team with Two New Hires
LOS ANGELES, CA – August 16, 2016 – Shamrock Capital Advisors, LLC, an alternative investment firm focused on middle market media, entertainment and communications, announced today that Timothy Bluth and Sam Halls have joined the firm’s private equity team as a Vice President and Senior Associate, respectively.
Timothy joins Shamrock with over nine years of media, communications and entertainment experience spanning both investment banking and private equity. Prior to joining Shamrock, he was a Senior Associate at The Gores Group. Timothy previously worked as an Associate at Saban Capital and as an investment banking analyst in J.P. Morgan’s Technology, Media & Telecom group in New York and San Francisco.
Sam joins Shamrock with over four years of investment banking and private equity experience. Prior to joining Shamrock, Sam was as an Associate at Silver Lake Sumeru, where he focused on software investing. Before Silver Lake, he was an investment banking analyst at Morgan Stanley covering clients in media as well as consumer and retail industries.
