Shamrock Capital Advisors Closes $700 Million Private Equity Fund

Fund IV had significant demand exceeding its hard-cap of $700 million

Los Angeles, CA – February 17, 2016 – Shamrock Capital Advisors, LLC today announced the final closing of Shamrock Capital Growth Fund IV, L.P. (“Fund IV”), a $700 million fund focused on providing buyout and growth capital investments in companies within the media, entertainment and communications industries. This marks the fourth such fund raised and managed by Shamrock focusing on these industries. Shamrock targets companies benefitting from growth trends in these sectors, seeking $20 million to $100 million of equity capital in both control and non-control transactions.

Fund IV’s limited partners comprise a diverse mix of existing and new investors from leading pension funds, endowments and foundations, family offices, and financial institutions. Shamrock launched its limited marketing process in late 2015 and Fund IV had significant demand exceeding its $700 million hard-cap.

“We are grateful for the continued support we received from our existing limited partners and are thrilled to add several well-respected limited partners to our base,” stated Steve Royer, Partner of Shamrock. “The sectors in which we invest are quite dynamic with tremendous opportunities for growth and we are excited about our team’s potential to continue to produce above-market returns for our investors.”

In conjunction with this closing, Alan Resnikoff was promoted to Partner, while Laura Held and Bhuvan Jain were promoted to Principal and Vice President, respectively. Fund IV is managed by the Partners of Shamrock and other investment professionals from an office in Los Angeles, California with approximately $1.8 billion of assets under management.
