Pixellot Named a Cool Vendor in AI for Media and Entertainment by Gartner
Gartner, the world-renown analyst company, has recognized Pixellot, the global leader in automated sports production technology, as a Cool Vendor in AI for Media and Entertainment.
Pixellot’s technology automatically generates high-quality footage of the playing field and follows the action on the ground, simulating a camera operator using computer-vision AI algorithms. The footage is automatically streamed via Pixellot’s cloud to fans, family, coaches, and scouts on all platforms.
The Gartner report notes: “Media and entertainment are benefiting strongly from the use of artificial intelligence techniques applied to video workflows and content analysis. Machine learning (ML) algorithms applied to video and audio analysis are exploding. Many vendors, from long-established ones to startups, are releasing products and solutions to help broadcasters, service providers and digital publishers accelerate the content delivery process, enhance the consumer experience, and help improve monetization initiatives.”
